Other World

This shape is created from a ball of colour suspended inside a solid sphere of glass. The colour is crafted by layering together powdered colours. These colours are delicately distorted with a metal tool to achieve a painterly quality that evokes imagery of the world from above. Peering through the polished lenses you get a sense of another world within.
