Echoes of Light (Blue / Orange)

£5,000.00

Within Tim’s collection, Echoes of Light, he seeks to paint with light. He exploits the transparency of glass, manipulating and distorting both colour and form in order to challenge the viewer’s perceptions.

The form of a circle is a universal symbol with extensive meaning - it has no beginning or end. It represents the notions of the infinite and symbolises the cycle of time and the planets' orbital journey around the sun. Planetary orbits are defined by ellipses, that are manifestations of a perfect circle. The Echoes form is composed of many internal ellipses, encapsulated within a circle.
