Some years ago, responding to a commission for a yacht, I created a series of wall pieces entitled Tempest. My new Wave wall pieces attempt to evoke and amplify the character and power of surging heavy seas and of breaking waves dashed into smoking crests of spray and foam.
Blue Vortex continues to explore the palette of sea glass or indeed, of the sea itself. The elemental colours are applied separately in sweeping flowing movements and overlaid with drifting net-like structures as they twist and swirl inexorably towards their ordained vortices.
