Purple Jazz Patchwork Medium Wide Rectangular Stoneform

This series comprises a number of variations on a theme - improvising, riffing, changing motif or direction to create lively and rhythmic complexities of colour and pattern. There is also a distinctly African influence derived from looking at Kente textiles from Ghana. Here, colour and design is meaningful and symbolic, a form of communication. Black refers to spiritual awareness, red mens passion while blue stands for pure spirit and harmony. With the patchwork collection we are aiming for an almost quilted character.
