Kármán Line I

Hanne and Louis continue their artistic collaboration pushing the boundaries of working with the hard, white Venetian glass known as Duro. This type of glass was originally developed for Venetian pattern making such as Reticello and Zanfirico. However, these two artists take a highly unusual and innovative approach to working with this material by building intricate and complex structures inside blown forms. These new pieces continue to explore themes of shadows, illusion, structure and how and where we define the edge of space.
