Rose Window

£3,500.00

Rose Window is a striking example of Tim’s recent exploration with colour. Having developed a new method of colour creation inspired by liquid light projections popular in the 60’s, Tim has been exploring mixing reactive pigments and powders to create a painterly texture within the glass, like ink and oils floating on the surface of water. Tim uses a small metal tool, like a hook, to distort the powdered glass colour whilst hot on the end of the blowing iron.
