Spectrum

The colours within Spectrum’s cast form express brushstrokes upon a canvas. Tim aims to capture the quality of ink falling into water; the way the colour spreads and flows. The piece consists of blown coloured components that are cast together in a mould inside the kiln. When molten, the glass colour diffuses and this fluidity is suspended as the glass cools. The highly polished finish promotes the illusive and optical qualities of the piece.
