Bird Pair - Grey & Yellow

South-African born glass artist Bruce Marks, started his career by creating highly patterned African-inspired work. However, more recently he has become renowned for his ‘Birds’, for which he draws inspiration from the Romanian sculptor Constantin Brancusi. In Bruce’s words ‘I envy Brancusi’s ability to capture the essence of his subject, creating a purity of form with minimal detail, whilst projecting profound presence.’
