Following on from Turquoise Glacier which was inspired by ice and snow, Peter developed the amber version as a result of exploring the idea of volcanic activity and the layering of fire and ice. In Amber Glacier, Peter has exploited reactive chemicals to achieve the crackled visual effects to give the impression of lava.
